Flood Zone Planning and Design Services
BlueShore Engineering provides planning, design, and construction oversight in coastal flood zones. In general, construction follows ASCE 24 "Flood Resistant Design and Construction". More specific to residential construction and development, FEMA's P-55 "Coastal Construction Manual" provides extensive guidelines for development in coastal and riverine flood zones.

- Planning substantial renovations of existing buildings to protect critical infrastructure and services.
- Design of dry-floodproofing measures such as flood gates and flood doors.

FEMA Grant Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Planning
We
provide post-disaster response and assistance with outlining damage,
infrastructure repair estimates, and coordination
with FEMA to maximize available funding, and to minimize the time
for obtaining funding.
